What Makes It Different
Unlike our Emulsified Body Butters, Intense Hydration Body Butter contains no added water. Instead, it’s a concentrated blend of plant butters and oils created for skin that needs richer, longer-lasting conditioning and protection.
Because the formula is water-free, it does not require the preservative system used in our water-based products. That also means it’s important to keep water out of the jar. Always use clean, dry hands or a clean, dry scoop when removing product.
This is the body butter to reach for when your everyday moisturizer simply isn’t quite enough.
How to Use & Care
Massage a small amount into clean skin, concentrating on areas that tend to be especially dry. For best results, apply after bathing while your skin is still slightly damp to help seal in that moisture.
Keep water out of the jar. Because this is a water-free product without a broad-spectrum preservative, avoid introducing water into the container. Use clean, dry hands or a clean, dry scoop.
Protect it from heat. Natural butters can soften or melt at warmer temperatures. Store away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. During especially hot weather, your body butter can be stored in the refrigerator or a cooler.
If melting does occur, don’t worry—the butter is still usable, although the texture may change as it cools and resolidifies.
