Coming Back to Center
August always feels a little different.
The garden is producing more than I can keep up with. The bees are beginning to slow after another busy season. Our calendars are quietly starting to fill with school schedules, fall plans, and everything waiting just around the corner.
It's easy to spend August preparing for what's next.
This month, I'm trying to remember that this season deserves to be lived, too.
Maybe that means ten quiet minutes on the deck before the day begins. A long shower after working outside. A favorite lotion before bed. A walk while the evening is still warm.
Small moments don't change everything overnight.
But they have a way of bringing us back to ourselves.
I hope you'll find a few of those moments here.

Come Back to Center
August has a way of asking us to slow down, even when life feels like it's speeding up.
The bees begin preparing for the season ahead. Gardens are overflowing with fresh vegetables. Warm days give way to cooler evenings, and the first hints of fall quietly begin to appear.
It's easy to spend this month looking ahead to everything that's coming next.
Instead, let's choose to enjoy what's here today.
Whether it's a refreshing shower after a day in the garden, nourishing your skin after time in the sunshine, or simply taking a few extra minutes for yourself before bed, these everyday rituals help us pause, recharge, and appreciate the beauty of late summer.
This collection celebrates those small moments—the ones that help us come back to center.
